Canadian Wolf, Wildlife Series, 1oz Silver, 2011

This is the first silver bullion issue in a three-year Canadian Wildlife coin series. The 2011 Silver Wolf coin debuted on September 9, 2010.

The reverse of the 2011 Silver Wolf coin depicts a Silver Canadian Timber Wolf that is intently looking from a hilltop underneath a full moon. Inscriptions include CANADA, 9999 FINE SILVER, 1 OZ, and ARGENT PUR.

The obverse side features an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, created in 2003 by Canadian portrait artist Susanna Blunt. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, 5 DOLLARS and 2011.
