The 5 Oz silver lunar tiger coin is a carefully crafted bullion coin with a smooth finish. The obverse bears the image of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the official state crown. The weight, finer level, and face value are also inscribed on the front. The front also bears the name of the monarch and the country.

The back of the coin bears the image of a tigress with a curb strolling in a mountainous bamboo forest. The years the coin was manufactured and the brand also appear on the back.
