Newly minted 30 Gram Chinese gold Panda coins.
2016 is the first year that the Chinese mint started to produce the Panda series coins in grams instead of ounces. The Chinese Panda gold coin is available in the 30g, 15g, 8g, 3g and 1g sizes.
Each coin features the image The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests in Beijing on the front, with the year of minting.
The reverse features an image of a Chinese Panda sitting on a bamboo branch. The coins face vaule of 500 Yuan is also engraved.
All gold Panda coins produced by the Chinese mint are 999 fine investment grade gold bullion. The Chinese Mint also produce the Panda coin in silver.
