Description
1 Ounce Queen's Beasts platinum bullion coin.
Each coin contains 1 Ounce of 999.5 fine investment grade platinum bullion.
The front of the coin features the Lion of England, standing above a shield. Written around the coin is 'Lion of England 1 Oz Fine Platinum 999.5 fine 2017'. 2017 is the first year of minting for the platinum Queen's Beasts coin, however the series was launched in gold and in silver in 2016. The coin are produced by the Royal Mint in the UK.
The Royal Mint also produces the well known British Sovereign coin, available in gold, and the British Britannia series, which is available in both gold and silver. Royal Mint products are very popular world-wide amongst precious metals investors, due to their beautiful designs and recognisability.
The reverse of the coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II, with the coin's face value of £100 engraved on it.
