The 1 Ounce Cook Islands platinum bullion coin is 99.95% fine, with a face value of CI$ 100. The coin offers investors an alternative government minted platinum coin to the platinum Maple Leaf coin, produced by the Canadian government, and the American Eagle platinum coin.
The Cook Islands platinum coin contains an image of the Bounty, a famous three-masted sailing ship that first sailed to the Cook Islands in 1789. Beneath the image of the Bounty is inscribed '100 Dollars, 1 Ounce Platinum Coin, 9995 fine'.
The front of the coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II, with the year that the coin was produced inscribed at the bottom.
The Cook Islands also produce a series of silver products, including the Cook Islands silver coin bar, and the Cook Islands silver combi bars. Cook Islands precious metals products are very popular with precious metals investors, particularly in Europe.
The Cook Islands platinum coin is available to SwissBullion.eu customers for VAT-free Swiss storage or for delivery.
