The 1 kilogram Austrian Lunar Tiger silver coin by the Perth Mint was released to celebrate the Chinese lunar year of the tiger. The obverse is inscribed with the image of Queen Elizabeth the II wearing a state crown. The name of the monarch, the face value, and the fineness are also inscribed on the obverse. The reverse bears the image of a tiger and her cub on a Mountainous bamboo forest.  The back also bears the year of manufacture.
