Why Buy the Australian Gold Kangaroo Coins

The premiums of Australian bullion coins remain high, even in the secondary market - this is primarily due to the unique annual design. Despite this, the Perth Mint aims to sell its bullion coins at a relatively low premium. This was a decision made by the Perth Mint after discovering the increasing competition in the global market for bullion coins. The Perth Mint also limits the annual mintages of the Australian Gold Kangaroo, which makes the coin more valuable than the gold content used in making it. It is a valuable coin to purchase especially for investors.

Gold Content

The coin is made using 99.99% pure 24-Karat Gold. This makes it one of the purest gold bullion coins in the world.
