The ¼ Oz 2023 gold American eagle coin is a bullion coin minted using advanced technology. This is evident in the fine finish. The front of the coin bears the image of a bald American eagle on the left profile. The front of the coin is also inscribed with the country of origin, weight, and the face value. The words “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “IN GOD WE TRUST” also appear on the obverse. Designer signatures “RG” & “JN” are engraved on the obverse in the opposite ends.
The back of the coin bears an upgraded image of Lady Liberty. She is depicted holding a flaming touch on her right and an olive branch on the left. She is wearing a flowing gown with her left foot resting upon a rock. An image of Capitol Hill and a rising sun are also inscribed on the reverse. The word “LIBERTY” is inscribed above lady liberty’s head. The year the coin was minted is engraved on the reverse. The edge of the gold American eagle quarter is surrounded by a ring of stars.
