The 2 Ounce Silver Queen's Beasts Griffin of Edward III coin is produced by the Royal Mint and is the second coin in the newly released Queen's Beasts series. This is the first series of silver coins produced by the Royal Mint in a 2 Ounce size.
The image of the Griffin is a half eagle, half lion creature, perched above a shield. Written around the image are the words 'Griffin of Edward III', with the weight, fineness, metal and year of minting. Each coin cointains 999.9 fine investment grade silver bullion.
The front of the coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin's face value of 5 GBP is also inscribed around her image.
